Brush Up on Our Dentist's Expertise
Dr. Charles M. Esposito DMD
Dr. Charles M. Esposito, a long-time Southern New Jersey resident, completed all of his pre-doctoral and post-doctoral education across the bridge in nearby Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

After receiving his bachelors from La Salle University, Dr. Charles elected to pursue a dental career, attending Temple University School of Dentistry, earning a D.M.D. degree in 2003.

Wanting to further his knowledge of dentistry and hone his clinical skills, he continued his education at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, completing the Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) program in 2004.  Here, he enhanced his clinical and didactic skills in endodontics (root canals), periodontics (gum treatment), as well as fixed and removable prosthodontics (dentures, crowns, and bridges) and implants.

Dr. Charles' commitment to his profession as well as his patients is reflected not only in his prior educational endeavors, but also his endless pursuit of continuous learning in all aspects of dentistry.

Dr. Esposito grew up locally in Pennsauken, New Jersey, later attending Camden Catholic High School in Cherry Hill. He currently resides with his wife, Lisa, son Lucas, and daughters Charleigh and Julia in Moorestown, NJ.  While not in the dental office, Dr. Charles enjoys traveling, listening to all genre's of music, saltwater fishing, skiing, reading, and, of course, spending time with his family.

"Going to the dentist. was always one of my least favorite things to do. That was until this past week when I went to Dr. Charles Esposito. Even before I went into the building, I felt a calmness, that is never is part of my experience with dentistry."
Elisabeth C.
"This place was great, my son recommended me. The staff are very nice and friendly with excellent Dentist who take great pride and care into their work. I'm glad my son told me about this place. I will be going here from now on. 5/5 overall excellent service and care."
John F.
"Very friendly and welcoming staff! Before I moved to the area I was going to the same dentist for over 15 years, so I was very nervous going somewhere new. The experience here was friendly and welcoming from the start and I felt so much more comfortable than I expected. The office was also super clean and relaxed too."
Danielle D.
"I have been receiving dental care from Dr. Charles Esposito/Dr. Miller and his Awesome professional staff since 1992. I have the Best experience from scheduling, to being checked in for my appointment upon arrival, to my dental cleaning with my Professional Technician Mary Rice and to my dental exam with Dr. Esposito/ Dr.Miller for my dental appointments."
Robert S.
"I never write reviews, but I genuinely love this office and everyone in it. I hadn't been to a dentist in over 10 years after my dentist retired. At Esposito Family Dental you are welcomed and called by the absolute best. They will sit on the phone for you or with you to help solve issues."
Julianne G.
"As always, I received excellent and compassionate dental care at Esposito Family Dental. Dr. Charles quickly assessed my issue and developed a treatment plan. They fit me in to the schedule when there's an emergency toothache, and they even tolerate me when I'm late to arrive due to traffic or bad weather.

FAQ

Questions
How often should I visit the dentist?

It is recommended to visit the dentist for a regular check-up and cleaning every six months. However, your dentist may suggest more frequent visits based on your individual oral health needs.

What should I do if I have a toothache?

If you experience a toothache, rinse your mouth with warm water and use dental floss to remove any food particles stuck between your teeth. If the pain persists, contact your dentist for an appointment as soon as possible. You can also take over-the-counter pain medication to help alleviate discomfort until you can see your dentist.

How can I prevent cavities?

To prevent cavities, brush your teeth twice a day with fluoride toothpaste, floss daily, and limit sugary and acidic foods and beverages. Regular dental check-ups and cleanings are also essential for maintaining good oral health.

What are the signs of gum disease?

Signs of gum disease include red, swollen, or tender gums, bleeding while brushing or flossing, persistent bad breath, receding gums, and loose or shifting teeth. If you notice any of these symptoms, schedule an appointment with your dentist.

What payment options do you accept?

We accept most major dental insurance plans, as well as cash, credit cards, and financing options through third-party providers. Please contact our office for more information on specific payment options and to verify your insurance coverage.

What should I do in a dental emergency?

In case of a dental emergency, such as a knocked-out tooth, severe toothache, or broken dental appliance, contact our office immediately. We reserve time in our daily schedule for emergency appointments and will provide you with instructions on how to handle your situation until you can see the dentist.

Are dental X-rays safe?

Yes, modern dental X-rays are safe. The amount of radiation exposure from a dental X-ray is minimal, and dentists take precautions to minimize exposure by using lead aprons and collars. X-rays are an essential diagnostic tool for detecting dental issues that may not be visible during a regular exam.
